Regarding Frank Wiggins Construction, I would without any hesitation recommend this company to work on your project. Frank is an honest man who will not hesitate to tell you when something can/cannot be done or if something is changed, he will give you a good estimate to how much the change will add to the costs. He will not make any changes without consulting you. He will work at trying to stay within your budget.

I kept making changes through my project but I never went forward without knowing how much the changes were going to cost me. Frank's employees are very skilled and also very neat. We never had a problem with errant nails in the driveway.

As for the work itself I have been told by others in the trades what a great job Wiggins Construction did on my house. If you want to see my house ask Frank and he will walk you through. As for completion time, our project took place during a rough winter but Wiggins Construction powered through the snow completing our project in the time frame that was expected!

Wiggins Construction was the general contractor for a rather large roof replacement and repair at our house. The problem was extensive roof rot and, as we found later, a rotten wall, so the scope included analysis of the problem, tear out of the existing shingles and insulation, and installation of a new, vented roof system. The wall repair included bracing of the roof it supported and reframing and insulating the wall.

During the construction, which lasted 6 weeks, the workman were prompt, professional and the scope included management of a subcontractor who installed the new shingles. Billing was completely documented and fair. I continue to be pleased with the work that was done and would highly recommend Frank Wiggins' company.

We purchased a home in Wilmot that needed some work done on the deck due to poor design and neglect. We had concerns, that turned out to be valid, that there might also be more damage that we could not see.

Frank and Co came to the rescue. They took a conservative approach, at first, to determine what exactly needed to be repaired and after finding significant rot where the deck met the house went into 'make it right' mode. I have no doubt that had they just 'fixed the deck' and not investigated further I would have been dealing with very expensive damage issues (sagging floors, etc) within the next few years.

Knowing that we had a limited budget Frank also made sure we did not run to far over without sacrificing quality of work. The repairs left us with the peace of mind that our house is whole again and safe from further damage and our deck now looks amazing.

Frank Wiggins Construction completed two projects for us. The firm has my most enthusiastic recommendation.

The first involved replacement of a triple window set in a bay. The window had been incorrectly installed by somebody else. It and the surround were extensively rotted. Frank Wiggins and his team developed a plan to rebuild the area. The result was of the highest quality, both in materials and, especially, in the workmanship. The perfect joining of the component parts is beautiful to behold, both inside and outside. We often admire it. The window is sturdy and solid, draft-free, and an asset to the house.

Our other project involved construction of a new deck accessible from the master bedroom. It is of the same quality as the window in that it is absolutely sturdy and firmly situated. The workmanship is of the same high quality. It has added value to the house.

We would like to enthusiastically recommend Frank Wiggins Construction to everyone! Although what we wanted to do was a relatively small job -- replacing two beams, a supporting post, and part of a wall with one larger beam that would span the whole space, opening up our living/dining area -– Frank gave it careful attention, explaining various options and then checking back to make sure that we were happy with the work that was being done. In fact we were so happy with the quality of the work that we added in a number of extras –- all of which really enhanced our new more open space.
